This glamazon above is killing me with her stunning camel cape. I'm dying for that cape. I am making capey outfits in my mind and they are very lovely if I may say so myself. Surely such a thing wouldn't be impossible to DIY? Geneva, over at A Pair and a Spare has made herself a fly little red studded DIY version here, so I'm thinking that this may just be a good place to start. I would nix the studs and buckle and line that baby to add a bit of structure to the edging. Alternatively, I could line the edges with some velvet ribbon or similar. As always, I'll let you know how everything shapes up and in the meantime, here are some more inspirational caped crusaders.
