Black & White in Bondi

Happy Valentines Day! Oh la la, all the love.

Last night we braved the Bondi Bubble for a Valentine's Eve dinner at Pompeii followed by drinks with friends. On a school night! Yep, we're so badass. The suburb of Bondi, though beautiful, really is its own thing, and I'm not entirely sure if I get what that thing is. Thongs (flip-flops, for my American friends) are not dinner shoes, in my humble opinion. I prefer to err on the side of polished when it comes to dressing. Even my most casual outfits are slightly overdone when compared to the average Bondi hipster, so I tend to find myself something of a fish out of water at times when I visit. However, I do love to visit. Bondi has such a buzz about it; the place feels alive!

I'm wearing pants from ASOS, shirt from Target, jacket from River Island and my bag, as it has been for the last few posts (I really must switch it up, but I'm in the middle of a love affair with my bag), is Chloe. The accessories are a mish mash of goodies and my glasses are Gucci.

This was coconut gelato with white peach sorbet. I can't even tell you how good this was. Heaven in a tub good.

  3. haha I know exactly what you mean about the Bondi bubble, especially fashion wise. I study at UNSW and often find myself heading to Bondi to eat or to shop. It's always hard to find that mix of beach chic whilst capturing that certain fashion edginess. I'm really loving your b&w outfit

    1. That's exactly it! I am so not beach chic, so I struggle a little, especially in the evenings. I want to wear heels but am never sure if I'll look overdressed.

Glad you know what I'm talking about here.

    1. Thanks! This lipstick is a super cheap find by Face of Australia. I can't remember the name unfortunately, but it is a deep matte red. I love the colour but the staying power isn't that fantastic unfortunately. x
